A long-term research project led by Shota Tsikoliya, Imro Vaško and David Kovařík of the Studio of Architecture III from the Academy of Arts, Architecture, and Design in Prague (UMPRUM), the exhibition Acoustic Caves will be displayed by the Czech Center in Vienna.
The project is a place for the incubation of new forms in architecture and new approaches in the field. The project tests the relationship between design, object, space, and architecture while examining their limits through the use of computational design. The authors of the exhibition Prof. Imrich Vaško and Shota Tsikolyia explain, “The project Acoustic Caves seeks answers to the question, what methods can we use in the age of radical cultural and technological changes, and what materials can we use to design and realise architecture”.
Results of the work of UMPRUM students led by prof. Imrich Vaško and Shota Tsikoliya were displayed at the Milano Design Week exhibition in the spring of 2018. The current exhibition will last until 19th of August. More information about the exhibitio could be found here: Czech Center Vienna
